  2. What choices are available to you regarding the use of your data.
  3. The security procedures in place to protect the misuse of your information.

How We Collect and Use Information

Personally Identifiable Information: We collect information that can be used to identify you as an individual (“Personally Identifiable Information”) only when you provide such information directly to us in connection with the Service.

In order to use the premium content on this website, or to correspond with Chef Cathy or Robert Griffin Consulting, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration, a user is required to give certain information including but not limited to your first and last name, ZIP code and email address. This information is used to contact you about the products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

Public content is also available on our site.  Personally Identifiable Information may also be collected by use of the public content.

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

We may also retain the contents of any messages you send to us or through the Services or website, and we may collect information you provide in User Content that you post to the Services or website. If you elect to make a donation or purchase merchandise through the Service, you may also provide us or a trusted third-party provider with the financial information required to process and fulfill your transaction. Finally, we may now or in the future allow Users to create accounts. If you choose to sign up for a User account, we may collect certain Personally Identifiable Information, including your username, first and last name, phone number, and email address. If you sign up for our email newsletter, we will collect your email address.

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

We use tools, including but not limited to “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of the Service.  These tools collect information such as how often users visit the Service, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to visiting the Service. We use the information we get from Google Analytics or similar tools, to maintain and improve the Service, and we may share anonymous statistical information from our use of Google Analytics or similar tools with our business partners for such purposes. The tool service provider, including but not limited to Google Analytics, collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit the Service, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics or similar tools with personally identifiable information. The tool service providers ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics or similar tools, about your visits to the Service is restricted by the tool service providers Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics or similar tool service provider from recognizing you on return visits to the Service by disabling cookies on your browser. In addition, if you want to prevent your data from being provided to Google Analytics or similar tools service provider, you can learn how to opt out using the tools service providers procedure such as a Google plug-in.

When you visit the website, we may send one or more cookies — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets Chef Cathy Zeis and Robert Griffin Consulting enhance your navigation through the site. A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the Service (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take on the Service), and allow us or our business partners to track your usage of the Service or website over time. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.
